The client's challenge

With the architecture already defined — three floors that take advantage of the sloped lot, an elevator, an infinity pool and every room facing the sunset —, the interiors' challenge was to give unity and human scale to a 500 m² house, integrating living, dining and the outdoor kitchen without losing the continuous reading toward the veranda and the view, with acoustic and visual comfort for the day-to-day of a couple of entrepreneurs with a young daughter.

The design solution

The social rooms were organized in a single gathering plane: the dining area features a large table with a dark mirrored top and comfortable upholstered armchairs, anchored by a continuous wood panel that warms the composition and conceals service support. Neutral colors, large-format slabs and soft textures bring unity between indoors and outdoors, while rugs, sheer curtains and soft-weave upholstery reduce reverberation across the large spans. The custom millwork of the outdoor kitchen, main kitchen and laundry room was built with white Silestone countertops and a cooktop on the central island, and Dekton with black details and earthy tones in the outdoor kitchen. The lighting design, with high-performance micro spotlights and automated LED profiles, allows light scenes that follow the family's routine and showcase the sunset.

The interiors started from the same guideline as the architecture: every social room faces the sunset view. The dining room sits centrally between the kitchen, living room and veranda, working as the meeting point for family and guests.

The neutral colors and finish textures — large-format slabs, wood and marble — ensure unity between indoor and outdoor spaces, without competing with the landscape.

The custom millwork organizes the kitchen, outdoor kitchen and laundry room with white Silestone countertops and Dekton with black details and earthy tones, and the automated lighting design creates light scenes that change according to how each room is used.

The combined development of architecture, interiors and landscaping, with the family's active participation throughout the 24 months of construction, is what made it possible to deliver a house that is coherent from the first concept to the last detail of execution.
