The client's challenge

Creating a showcase environment at the Artefacto store that would translate the 5 Senses theme into a real sensory experience: the sound of the piano, the touch of velvet and linen, the light reflected in the marble and the mirror, the green of the plants and the scent of the flowers. The space needed to be both scenographic and livable, able to welcome visitors and read as a sophisticated apartment.

The design solution

We organized the living room of the 5 Senses showcase at the Artefacto store around a 1920 Grotrian-Steinweg grand piano, which stands out as the central, emotional piece of the environment. The mustard velvet sofa and the cozy designer armchairs create an invitation to stay, while the mirrored coffee table and the pink rug enhance the sense of depth and warmth. The dark marble panel in the background, the gilded frames and the tropical plants complete a scene that balances elegance, contemporaneity and warmth.

The environment of the 5 Senses showcase, presented at the Artefacto store, proposes an apartment conceived for a woman in love with melodies. The idea of having a piano in the space never left the architect's mind, as she sees music as a powerful influence on daily life. That is why an authentic 1920 Grotrian-Steinweg crowns the setting and sets the emotional tone of the living room — and Caroline Bollmann's presence on the mustard sofa reflects this personal identification with the project.

The cozy furniture reflects the invitation to comfort: designer armchairs and the Coquille sofa organize the gathering space, while the Alderaan dining column, with colorless crystal, and the Poline chairs, with their distinctive textures and shapes, exude elegance, sophistication and contemporaneity.

The bold, refined palette — mustard velvet, pink rug, dark marble and gilded metals — is balanced by the presence of the tropical plants and the natural light entering the Artefacto store environment. Every element was chosen to stimulate the senses: the sound of the piano, the touch of the fabrics, the shine of the mirror, the scent of the flowers and the visual impact of a striking composition.
