Renovation of 60 m² of leisure area in Curitiba: creation of a gourmet space integrated to the new pool, a lounge area with awnings and renovation of the residence's tennis court.

The client's challenge
The residence's leisure area was disorganized and disconnected from the indoor spaces. The residents wanted a functional gourmet space, a new pool integrated into the social area and the renovation of the existing tennis court, all in a contemporary and welcoming language without losing the identity of the house.
The design solution
The design reconfigured the 60 m² of outdoor area to house a covered gourmet space integrated with the new pool, with a support counter, barbecue and table for outdoor dining. Awnings and umbrellas define shaded relaxation zones, while neutral-toned finishes and wood warm the composition. The tennis court renovation respected the original dimensions but received new paint, lighting and finishes to visually integrate with the new leisure ensemble.
The renovation started from the idea of turning the leisure area into an extension of the house: the covered gourmet space works as a meeting point between the kitchen, the pool and the tennis court, creating a single social territory.
The palette of light and neutral tones, combined with wood and the green of the landscaping, softens the transition between the building and the garden. Natural light is abundant during the day, and artificial lighting was planned to extend the use of the space into the evening.
The tennis court, kept as an element of leisure and wellness, received new flooring and fencing treatments to dialogue with the contemporary proposal of the gourmet area.
